Looks like the time for stereotypical male representation in lead roles for revenge thrillers is over. In the last couple of years, more and more leading ladies of Hollywood are adapting to the role of characters with a thirst for vengeance, and joining the league is Angelina Jolie. The 'Maleficent' actress has reportedly been signed to star in 'The Kept' - a period revenge thriller from Imperative Entertainment who picked up the rights to the novel by James Scott.
