Ana Navarro playfully threatens to exit 'The View' podcast after producer's snarky remark
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘The View’ star Ana Navarro snapped at the show’s producer Brian Teta recently for editing out a portion of her speech in Spanish from a previously recorded episode.
The 51-year-old sat down with Teta for some casual talk in the latest podcast episode of 'The View: Behind the Table'
It was during this interaction that Navarro remembered how she had revealed something exciting in Spanish in one of the previous episodes. Teta acknowledged the situation and mentioned that he would need to review it before permitting its inclusion.
Navarro was furious at this statement and threatened to never return on the show’s podcast.

During the live broadcast of 'The View,' Navarro and Teta were discussing their recent podcast recording.
Navarro expressed her delight upon discovering that there were podcast reviews written in Spanish. Navarro told Brian, "If you remove that piece in Spanish, I'm not doing this podcast again."
Teta remarked, "Well, I have to listen to it now and find what it was and whether or not it was insulting.”
Navarro joked, "I said for them to say bad things about you in Spanish."
"Oh, for the love of God!" Teta exclaimed.
Ana Navarro indulges in a heated argument with Brian Teta over Halloween costume
In the same podcast episode, Navarro had an argument with Teta over his disapproval of a Halloween costume.
Teta brought it up by mentioning that her costume on the show last year was the Spanish actress Charo.
She remarked, "Which we got into a fight about. You didn't want me to be Charo. You wanted me to be, who? I forgot."
"Oh, I know! You wanted me to be Lucy," she said, referencing Lucille Ball from the 1950s hit show I Love Lucy.
"And I said I wanted to be a Latina because there's not enough Latina representation," she added.
Teta replied, "I was fine with a Latina.” Navarro ignored his comment and noted that she chose Charo for her memorable role on another classic TV series, 'The Love Boat'.
Teta then explained his objection to her dressing up as Charo was because it didn't sit well with her co-stars' costumes.
"My issue with it was that Charo wasn't really a character — she was a guest star on The Love Boat...Everybody else was acting as TV characters on TV shows that were on every week," he noted.
The duo then moved over it and wrapped the segment.
