Meghan McCain quit ABC's hit show 'The View' on Thursday, July 1. The host reportedly gave up give up her four-season stint on the daytime talk show despite having two years left on her contract. McCain joined the cast in 2017. According to sources, McCain will finish by the end of July.

McCain quit the show after alleging that she's "done" with her co-star clashes. According to reports, she was begged to stay on the show, but she paid no heed to it. As soon as the news broke out social media users express their excitement and started demanding Ana Navarro, to be brought in place of  McCain. Navarro is a guest host on the show.

This is not the first time people are asking Navarro to be made a permanent host on 'The View'. Last year, when McCain returned on the show in December after her maternity leave, fans had then also demanded McCain be replaced by Navarro. Announcing her resignation from the show, McCain said, "This was not an easy decision, it took a lot of thought and counsel and prayer and talking to my family." McCain, however, praised her co-hosts - Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines, calling them the "four most talented women on television" and the "best in the business." While concluding her announcement, she took a dig at the renowned clashes that McCain had with the hosts and said, "If you guys want to fight a little bit more, we've got four more weeks."

'Please hire Ana Navarro as her replacement'

People took to Twitter in large numbers and tweeted that Navarro be brought on the show in place of McCain. One user wrote, "Please hire Ana Navarro as her replacement." Another commented, "I never watch @TheView, but if they are so thirsty for a Republican voice on their program, Ana Navarro would be one hell of a choice, she’s smart, a badass and lives in reality nor is she a propagandist. Choose her." One user tweeted, "I hope Ana Navarro replaces Meghan on The View." Another tweet read, "Yes, goodbye Megan and hello to Ana Navarro as a permanent cohost. ABC let's make it happen!" One user wrote, "It would be great if they make Ana Navarro permanent."

Another tweeted, "Yes! I quit watching it when McCain started. Hopefully they will get Ana Navarro on full time." One user commented, "Thank God! Make Ana Navarro permanent." Another tweet read, "Major. I hope they choose, Ana Navarro."

Born in Chinandega, Nicaragua in December 1971, Navarro is a Nicaraguan American political strategist and commentator. She moved to the United States in 1980. Navarro is a Republican who graduated from the University of Miami and served as the National Co-Chair of the Hispanic Advisory Council for John McCain in 2008 and again in 2012 for Jon Huntsman Jr Navarro.
