PASCO COUNTY, Florida: A South Florida man, who had gone missing with his newborn son, after three women were found dead in his home, has also been found dead. An Amber alert is on for the missing infant.

The father, Ernesto Caballeiro, was found dead on Wednesday afternoon in Pasco County. Around 4.45 pm on Tuesday, Miami-Dade police responded to a house located on the 21900 Block of Southwest 187th Avenue in Miami.

Officers had found three women dead with gunshot wounds. The three Hispanic women aged between 40 and 80 were identified as the infant's mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The bodies were discovered when a relative tried to contact the women and went home to check on them. Ernesto also lived in the house.

He is accused of abducting the child and killing three women, before fleeing from their house, according to 10 News.

Ernesto's son, Andrew, who is just a week old has not been located and a search is on to find the child. According to deputies, Ernesto was found dead in the woods with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Pasco deputies are working with the Miami Police Department in searching a rural area near I-75.

Ernesto had been seen driving a white Ford passenger van, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Deputies have shared that the truck that Ernesto was driving had no car seats in the vehicle. Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco shared that a body had been found near the van but that there was no sign of the baby.

As reported by WFLA, Nocco shared that one witness had reported seeing a blonde woman in the truck and was hoping that the baby was handed to her. "I sit here and pray to god, that is true and that she has the baby. If that woman is out there, please come forward, I promise you all we care about is little Andrew is okay," Nocco shared.

Those with information regarding their whereabouts can call the FDLE’s Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse at 1-888-356-4774 or the Miami-Dade Police Department at 305-471-2400 or 911.
