'Amy Schumer Learns to Cook' Season 2 will premiere on August 17 on Food Network.
Plot
The show was developed as a quarantine special, recorded by Amy and her husband, chef Chris Fischer. They are locked down at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, and are up to a lot of good. They are using this time to whip up some great farm-to-table recipes. Leading from the front is Chris while Amy shares her comedic two cents every now and then, and occasionally offers to blend a few cocktails.
In episode one, as mentioned on the channel's website, viewers can expect the couple to arrange for an exquisite lunch but something that appears doable for the rest of us. A picnic meal complete with a Margarita, pesto pasta salad, chicken cutlet BLT and brownies. While at it, Amy will also learn a tip or two about kale and anchovy salad and chicken noodle soup.
Cast
Amy's celebrity friends may pitch in, but for now, it's her and Chris taking the kitchen by storm. We also get a glimpse of the couple's son, Gene, as they try to get a host of meals together. "We are happy to be coming back for a second season because sequels are always the best!" Amy said in a statement and added that the couple is proud to be partnering with the channel. They will be donating to Colin Kaepernick's Know Your Rights camp "whose mission is to advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization, and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders".

'Amy Schumer Learns to Cook' is produced by David Mechlowicz. Serving as executive producers are Chris, Amy, Faith Gaskins, Dan Cesareo and Lucilla D'Agostino. Courtney White, president of Food Network, shared that the channel was excited to have the couple return for new episodes and fresh season because of how amazing they were in their first. "We could not be more excited that they have continued to allow Food Network to bring our audience a behind-the-curtains look at their lives, with even more laughs and comforting food on the way," she added.
