LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Many Internet users have trolled Tyler Perry for appearing in the latest trailer for Harry and Meghan's bombshell Netflix docuseries, 'Harry & Meghan', which was out on Monday, December 12. The 53-year-old actor, comedian, and producer, reportedly opened up about the couple's relationship in the trailer for the final three installments of the series. He said of their relationship, “They just wanted to be free. They wanted to be free to love and be happy. I applauded that.”

As expected, many on social media were not pleased with the actor for appearing in the teaser as one person pointed out, “Embarrassing yourself supporting two unbelievably privileged manipulative liars willing to trash an institution and his own family for $$. You don't know them. There are actual victims in this world. Do you read the news?” “I thought Tyler Perry didn’t like them anymore? 😂”, another added.

While another added, "Wanting to be free is one thing....but publicly trashing your family and making money to do it is sickening." “No one had an issue with them starting a new life. But they are now shamelessly making up grievances just for $$ The lies and hypocrisy will be their own undoing,” yet another user remarked. Earlier, Harry and Meghan were backed by Perry as they left their lives in the UK and their royal responsibilities behind.

He supported them in moving to the US by lending them his $18 million Beverly Hills mansion to live in as their primary residence. Perry previously outlined his motivation for helping the couple, stating that he wanted to 'support them' in any way he could because it was a 'very difficult time for them'. The director said during the 'Today Show', “What I know about the two of them - and I wish the world knew - how much these two people love each other. They found each other, out of all these odds against them finding each other, they found each other. The love they have is really, really moving and I wanted to do anything I could to support them.”

In the first three episodes of 'Harry & Meghan', the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen making a number of accusations, including that they were "not protected" by the Palace and that royal advisers were actively leaking and "planting" allegations about them in the press as part of a "dirty game." Episodes 1-3, or Volume I of the series, released on Netflix on December 8, while Volume II, with episodes 4-6, is expected to air on December 15.
