'America's Got Talent: The Champions' Season 2 premiered on January 5 night and the 10 acts that performed stood out in their own unique way. Sadly, not all could make it through to the semi-finals. The two acts that received the highest number of votes from the superfans across the 50 states advanced to the semifinals. And one act advanced using the judge's save.

Apart from that, one contestant who received a golden buzzer also moved on directly to the finale. The remaining six contestants were eliminated.

The contestant who won Heidi Klum's golden buzzer and directly advanced to the finale was 13-year-old Angelina Jordan. Her performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen was impeccable. She took a rock and roll song, turned it into a ballad and did justice to it.

The three acts that made it to the semifinals are:

Duo Transcend

Duo Transcend was the first act to advance to the semifinals via the superfan votes.

The happily married couple, Tyce and Mary, first appeared on 'America's Got Talent' in Season 13. They made it to the top 10 before they got eliminated when they were in the bottom five.

They went all out in their act this week. Performing something we've never seen before, the couple's trapeze act consisted of them both being blindfolded while Tyce hangs upside down using one leg and gets a hold of Mary while she flies midair. They left everyone at the edge of their seats and they definitely deserved the spot in the semifinals.

Dania Diaz

Dania Diaz was a finalist during 'Spain's Got Talent' in 2018. She was the final act of the night and went off with a bang.

For her act, she performed a card trick that told her life story. As she shuffled the cards, she managed to get them in the exact same numbers and dates she was talking about during her act. Using facts from her family, she made it even more interesting. The judges, especially Alesha Dixon, found her inspiring. Simon Cowell called her performance "amazing". Dania was the second act to make it through to the semifinals via the superfan votes.

Hans

Hans made it all the way to the finale in 2018 when 'America's Got Talent' aired. Back again this season, though Howie Mandel, Alesha Dixon, and Heidi Klum were happy with his act, Simon Cowell pressed his red buzzer for Hans.

For his act, he descended to the stage on a banana while he played the accordion and sang. He then went on to perform his rendition of 'Juice' by Lizzo. Even though he got a red X from Simon, the other three judges gave him a standing ovation. Hans made it through to the semifinals using the judge's save. Mandel and Klum voted for Hans. Even though he himself was shocked at having made to the semifinals, fans and viewers aren't happy about it.

'America's Got Talent: The Champions' Season 2 airs every Monday only on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
