As one of the most anticipated acts of the night, 10-year-old Roberta Battaglia had a lot of expectations to live up to during the 'America's Got Talent' live show. As Sofia Vergara's Golden Buzzer and her pick to win the whole show, she also had judge expectations to meet. She certainly hit the right notes tonight singing Lauren Daigle's 'I Believe'. Well, almost.

Right off the bat, viewers already had issues with the sound. "Oh good more loud backing music #AGT," tweeted one annoyed AGT-watcher. But others also took issue with the obvious green screen that was backing Battaglia's performance. "And here's our first child singer of the show. Also: GREEEEEEEN SCREEEEEEEN!" tweeted one viewer.

Not everyone was bothered by the background, though. One viewer stated, "Okay pretty sure Roberta has a green screen for the background but it's cool," while another viewer, clearly impressed with the stage, shared, "#AGT is doing some incredible effects with the stage."

As Battaglia kicked her performance off, it seemed like her nerves may have gotten the better of her. Stumbling through, she did find her footing, but not before viewers noticed the slip-up. "Oh no. She messed up there. Her nerves are thru the roof," tweeted one viewer, "Yikes this ain't good," said another and one viewer noted, "Bad song choice, and she has the deer in the headlights look. But she has a great voice, and she'll go through."

But as her performance progressed, she got back on top of things, right before she sailed into her gorgeous big notes. And the background effects got better along the way too. "OMG! Roberta Battaglia's performance got me blown away! Even the visuals are breathtaking," tweeted one fan, "That background is magnificent," shared another, and one said, "Such a powerful and emotional performance, Roberta. Proud Canadian here, trust me!"

And the praise continued. "Love her voice," said one viewer, "Wow, Roberta's voice is amazing and incredible tonight, She is the best, And it was an incredible performance tonight," tweeted another while one fan said, "Roberta Battaglia is amazing! She deserved that Golden Buzzer during the auditions."
