'America's Got Talent' fans outraged that singing sensation Ansley Burns was robbed of a spot in the live shows

The 12-year-old from South Carolina, however, does have a chance of making it to the live shows through a wildcard option if one of the judges selects her

It was Déjà vu for fans and viewers when 'America's Got Talent' season 14 aired with the third round of Judge Cuts on Tuesday, July 30, night.

Drawing nearer to its live shows, AGT has us excited and waiting in anticipation to see what the contestants bring to the stage next. Though most of the acts that went through to the live shows were fan favorites, there was one act that fans feel was robbed from its spot in the next round. And that was none other than Ansley Burns.

Performing in the third round of the Judge Cuts, Ansley Burns might be a young girl, but when it comes to Simon Cowell and his challenges, she has the patience of an older and much wiser woman.

For those who aren't aware of Burns, she is a 12-year-old hailing from South Carolina. She left a mark on judges and viewers alike during her audition when she performed Aretha Franklin's 'Think'. While singing in front of the judges for the first time, within 30 seconds of her performance, she was stopped by Cowell who shared that her background music was overpowering her voice and not doing her justice. He then asked her to sing it acapella.

Burns didn't think twice before she belted out the song as Cowell wanted it. She left everyone in the audience and judges shocked. Receiving four "yeses" she moved on to the Judge Cuts in LA. All ready to perform once again for the judges hoping to get a spot in the live shows, Burns sang her version of Carrie Underwood's 'Good Girl'.

But just like her audition, Burns was stopped by Cowell mid-performance and asked to sing the second half of her song acapella. Not fazed by Cowell's request, Burns hit all the notes and sang it acapella. Watching her sing with utter confidence, Howie Mandel and Gabrielle Union were shocked.

After her performance, Burns received raving reviews from the judges including this weeks guest judge Ellie Kemper. Union told Burns that she "blew it out of the water". And Cowell revealed that she has something special in her adding that this was her best audition till date.

Even though Burns received such outstanding comments from the judges, sadly she didn't make it through to the live shows. Viewers and fans who watched Burns get eliminated took to social media and shared how outraged they are and claim she was robbed from her spot in the live shows.

"She should've went through! NOT the tambourine guy," wrote a fan on Twitter. Another fan said, "So messed up that she didn't go through over Gonzo. Terrible call by the judges! I get it, Gonzo was funny but Ansley had talent! Gonzo will be gone the first live show he's in, Ansley could have gone so far!"

"Yeah, sorry, she was waayyy more deserving than the tambourine guy. He is a comedy act with only one joke. I couldn't see him in Vegas unless they start running 'The Gong Show' again," said a fan.

Another added, "I know they need variety but Ansley should have moved up. I just don’t see a lot of talent in missing knife throws or hitting a tambourine all over your body." Burns, however, does have a chance of making to the live shows through a wildcard option if one of the judges selects her.
