The girl from Thayer is a girl of many talents — singing, songwriting, and a model. Halie Wooldridge goes by the stage name HALIE and hails from Missouri. "Halie is giving us good vocals, telegenic presence, and this lovely and cute staging accent everything. “Better Things” is a good pop track, as well. #AmericanSongContest," one of the fans wrote. "She’s a little stiff from nerves she loosen up a bit she really can win the crowd over . I feel the lyrics she’s saying #AmericanSongContest but I’m feeling the lyrics Halie," a fan noted.

"Not a bad song for Missouri. but a few technical issues for me on some of the notes. I know, maybe a bit nit-picky. but that makes a difference between win and also-ran, imho. #AmericanSongContest," a fan remarked. "Song 5: Missouri. There's a sincere, innocent, cute vibe to this. Could've used a better staging but her vocals were already shaky as it is... Not bad tho. #AmericanSongContest," another fan shared some thoughts on Halie's performance. The jury voted Missouri fifth in the performance chart, something that stunned one of the fans: "What? Missouri in last place so far for the jury??? What??? Really??? I'm in shock! She's one of my favorites tonight #AmericanSongContest"

"#AmericanSongContest Act 5 - Show 5 Missouri — HALIE — “Better Things” this song was a very good song but do not get the girl in the halo act my score - 6," a fan rated the performance.
