'American Ninja Warrior' Season 11 finale was nothing short of a thrilling ride. Drew Drechsel was crowned the winner of the competition series. Not only did he walk away with the prestigious title, he became a million dollars richer as well. He won against Daniel Gil on the Mt Midoriyama obstacle by a few seconds. It must have been quite the weight he carried around until his time came to shine.

Season 11 was all his, he won and sort of set an example for those who have failed but wish to come back stronger. In a chat with MEAWW, Daniel confirmed his return to the show next year and said that his only goal would be to conquer the Mt Midoriyama obstacle. "You know, this year after last year, and coming three seconds away from winning a million dollars the grand prize. This year, I was able to become the grand champion," he said and added: "However, I do still desire a rematch on stage for Mount Midoriyama to win a million dollars. And that's the plan for next season. So all my friends, all my fans, those that are that are reading or listening. They can be they can rest assured that I will be back next year and I have even bigger plans ahead."

Daniel is someone who is invested in the entire process of 'ANW'. He enjoys it all and therefore, it would only make sense for him to make a comeback. Not only is he focussed on his training but also how individuals compete on a national platform testing their grit and courage. His stance on wanting to be on the show is loud and clear: He's a competitor. "When I found out about American enjoy the TV show through a friend, I thought oh my goodness, this is perfect. I now have an opportunity to do something that I've always kind of dreamed about. And so I did Ninja Warrior for myself because it is so fulfilling and challenging because I'm very much a a competitor like I love challenges and you know What better challenge than the world's toughest obstacle?" Daniel concluded.

'American Ninja Warrior' Season 12 finale aired on Wednesday, November 4, at 9/8c.
