'American Idol' Season 18 is all set to premiere in less than two days, and we can't stay calm. To keep the hype high, the series has been releasing quite a few previews and sneak peeks regarding the forthcoming season. One such sneak peek was the performance of Francisco Martin.

The two-hour premiere special will kick off on Sunday night, and returning to their panel are judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. Ryan Seacrest is back as the host, along with Bobby Bones returning as the in house mentor.

The series promises that this season will be nothing short of extraordinary, and they might just deliver what they promise. Francisco Martin is a singer and songwriter based out of San Franciso, and though he was nervous prior to his audition, he didn't let it get the best of him and ruin his performance.

Franciso is currently a college student studying pre-law. Entering the auditioning room, Franciso was a nervous wreck, but Luke and Lionel help him calm his nerves. Sharing that he is excited to be there, Francisco performs a stunning rendition to Maggie Rogers' 'Alaska'. His audition was heartwarming, so much so he killed it.

Taking to Twitter, fans are already rooting for this young singer prior to the premiere. "SOMEONE IS FINALLY SINGING SOME MAGGIE ROGERS!" a fan wrote. Adding to that another said, "Ok he killed this rendition. I need this version on itunes."

"Oh, come on. You had the album of the year. Hands down," a fan shared, While another wrote, "I need about 37470433 mins of this." Apart from fans sharing their love for this contestant, famed singer Maggie Rogers herself retweeted the sneak peek sharing, "I CANT HANDLE THIS."

We do not know if Franciso got his golden ticket to Hollywood or not, but we do know that fans will be really upset if he doesn't make it through to the next round.

'American Idol' Season 18 premieres on Sunday night only on ABC. Check your local listings for more information.
