Starting their new journey to find the next singing sensation, the series aired their fourth episode Sunday, with a new bunch of contestants hoping to get a golden ticket to Hollywood.

When the fourth episode aired Sunday, we witnessed some really good talent including a few singers who have a high chance of making it far in the competition. This episode also showcased two old contestants who participated again, hoping to make it all the way through this season. 'American Idol' returns Monday night for its fifth episode. While we wait in anticipation, let us take a look at three contestants who stood out in Sunday's auditions.

Jacob Morgan

Coming from a musical family, Morgan revealed he has always been singing. Stating that singing has to date been just a hobby for him, Morgan performed Ariana Grande's 'Into You' and stunned the judges with his voice. His performance was overall stunning and his notes were breathtaking.

After his performance, Perry revealed it is time he started to consider singing as more than just a hobby. And Richie could not believe Morgan used to sing just at the nursing home he worked in and at local karaoke. This 24-year-old singer from Dansville, Michigan, sure has a long way to go and we can't wait to see him perform next. Needless to say, Morgan received a golden ticket and is off to Hollywood.

Alyssa Raghu

Alyssa Raghu is one of the contestants who appeared previously (season 16) in 'American Idol.' She made it to the Top 24 and then got eliminated. She is back this season to prove she is a pop star and can go all the way. After a lot of practice and over 200 live shows, in her audition round, Raghu performed “Shark in the Water” by VV Brown.

Her performance brought Richie to tears and Bryan revealed he had his first goosebumps of the day. Need we even describe how amazing her performance was after these reactions from the judges? Raghu received her ticket to Hollywood. Her practice that she had over the year finally paid off.

Evelyn Cormier

Making it to the top 3 list is another well-known contestant. Evelyn Cormier auditioned for American Idol for the first time, but she previously appeared on '90 Day Fiancé'. Surely after watching her performance, Cormier will now also be remembered for her voice. Having a vocal range that is quite insane, Cormier shocked the judges with her audition performance of 'Wicked Games' by Chris Isaak.

After her performance, Perry revealed she might be her favorite voice. Her voice had a special tone to it and the judges did not hesitate with giving her the ticket to Hollywood. Perry only cautioned her to make better song choices and she will go far.
