CONWAY, SOUTH CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' Season 21 auditions are getting more thrilling with every new episode. The ABC singing competition has already got some talented singers to Hollywood, but a long list of hopefuls are still waiting for their chance to become a global icon. Among them is the immensely talented Mariah Faith.

Mariah is all set to make her 'American Idol' debut with her impressive singing skills in front of all three OG judges, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. However, Mariah has had to deal with a bad past. Her struggles have motivated her to pursue singing.

Who is Mariah Faith?

Mariah currently resides in Conway, South Carolina, and originally hails from Baltimore, Maryland. The aspiring singer went to Carolina Forest High School. However, Mariah completed her higher studies at Academy for Technology and Academics. Mariah is a hairstylist who loves to explore different styles herself. She dyed her hair in several trendy colors but ended up with stunning dreadlocks. Mariah is a TikTok sensation with more than 47,000 followers and more than 1.4 million likes. She usually shares lifestyle content and duets with musicians to show off her beautiful voice. The rising country singer started singing in front of a big audience in 2018 when she performed as part of the 'Bringing Down the House' variety show at the Main Street Theatre in Conway. The show was dubbed as 'a musical revue featuring pop, country, rock, and Broadway favorites.' However, things changed and she took a step back when her father died in 2019. Mariah sang 'All I Want' at her father's funeral. She shared a clip from the funeral on her Instagram and paid a heartfelt tribute to her father in the caption. Mariah was left heartbroken and struggled with alcoholism following her father's death. However, in 2022, Mariah revealed that she had been 10 months alcohol-free. Mariah addressed her struggle in an Instagram post from March 2022, writing, "Never in all my days thought I’d be making a post like this. Almost 3 years of using alcohol to self-medicate, trying to heal that broken, hurting, girl missing her daddy with a lack of ability to see the sunshine in all the dark. Time can only fix so many things before you have to handle that sh**t yourself. Here’s to one month happy, healthy & sober." Since then, Mariah has tried to focus on singing and living a happy life.

Mariah will serenade the judges in the upcoming episode of 'American Idol' Season 21. The TikTok sensation's first look photo of the audition has been revealed by the ABC network. In the photo, the aspiring singer looked stunning in a funky colorful jumpsuit paired with a sweet smile. Mariah also shared her excitement about the audition on her social media. She shared her stunning photos while revealing that she has auditioned for the singing competition. Mariah wrote in the caption, "I auditioned for the upcoming 21st season of American Idol! Tune in and you just might see me. #AmericanIdol 🥳✨💙💙💙💙." Additionally, Mariah's loved one organized a thrilling watch party for the Season 23 premiere. The aspiring singer shared on her social media, "An amazing night overwhelmed with love, excitement, & support for @americanidol ❤️‍🔥 shoutout to my TEAM for setting up an amazing watch party! We didn’t see me this week but we got introduced to some amazing talent! Can’t wait to see what the future holds 🥹."
