'American Chopper': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about Discovery's two-hour special
After over a decade of entertainment, the father-son duo of Paul Teutul Sr and Paul Teutul Jr is back with a historic special that will see them work together on a build again after years of bad blood. Here’s everything you need to know about the project:

The 'American Chopper' two-hour special will air on the Discovery channel on June 9 at 9 pm ET.
Plot
'American Chopper' is the story of Paul Teutul Sr aka Senior and his son Paul Teutul Jr aka Paulie who used to run Orange County Choppers, a custom shop in Newburgh, New York, where they create bespoke motorcycles for regular customers and celebrities alike. A lot of the show's drama comes from the clashes between father and son, who have vastly different views on their job despite sharing a deep-seated passion for the work they do.
In the past, this tension has led to the duo breaking up, with Paulie leaving and starting his own rival chopper company. Now they're brought back together when the original Orange County Choppers building is condemned, leading to the two uniting for one last build as father and son.
Here's Discovery's official synopsis for the upcoming special: "Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr., two of the most legendary chopper craftsmen, are back to conquer unfinished business. The infamous father-son duo have been on a wild ride, and now after spending years trying to rebuild their fractured relationship, they return to the garage where it all started in hopes of building a custom bike together for the first time in over a decade.
In the special, world-class motorcycle builders Paul Teutul Sr., owner of Orange County Choppers, and Paul Teutul Jr., owner of Paul Jr. Designs, find out that the original Orange County Choppers building is going to be torn down. They revisit the shop to pick up a few items that were left behind and reminisce on the past. Overcome by the history of the building, Paul Jr. jumps on the opportunity to ask his dad to build a bike together. Paul Sr. agrees to the build and the two set out to work on a custom chopper for one of the largest distributors of exterior and interior building products.
But complications arise between the father-son duo as they get to work on creating a one-of-a-kind chopper. Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. have their own unique bike styles and when Paul Jr pushes for more creative input, the entire build is thrown into jeopardy. Will the build prove to be too much for the already fragile father-son relationship? Or will the Teutuls finally be able to leave the past behind them and use the build as the starting point for a new chapter?

Paul Teutul Sr and Paul Teutul Jr
The heart and soul of 'American Chopper' is the father-son duo of Senior and Paulie. Senior is the founder of Orange County Choppers and a more traditional man when it comes to chopper design. Paulie was formerly the chief designer and fabricator at OCC before his falling out with his father. He now owns and runs Paul Jr Designs and occasionally comes to OCC as a consultant.
Other staff members include Paulie's brother Michael Teutul, as well as Rick Petko, Nick Hansford and Christian Welter, who are mechanics and fabricators of OCC.
