AMA 2019: Halsey's missing eyebrows has Twitter all riled up: 'Thought it was the wine talking but nope'
Halsey had a pretty great time at the American Music Awards this year. She won for the Best Pop/Rock category for her emotional number 'Without Me' and of course showed up to the red carpet looking like a total fashionista. She even managed to slam the Grammys. But fans think she forgot a crucial element "at home" — her eyebrows.
Halsey concealed and bleached her eyebrows for the looks this year, and Twitter couldn't stop wondering what was wrong with her face, before realizing it was missing some brows. "hi im just gonna say it but where are halsey's eyebrows," one fan said, while another agreed, "Turn on the tv & thought it was the wine talking but NOPEEEE sure enough @halsey has no eyebrows & i am sorry but I cannot support this."
One fan went ahead and drew her brows on. "Lizzo is holding Halsey’s eyebrows hostage in that purse," said a fan, pointing out Lizzo extremely tiny white purse that would probably only fit brows.
Another fan thought it reminded her of "Hunger Games". "Why does Halsey's makeup remind me of Effie Trinket with the no eyebrow look," the fan said. "@halsey my girlfriend and i love you so much and think you can do no wrong but GIRL, where are you eyebrows tonight???" another said.
There were some Jeffrey Star mentions as well, who is a beauty guru and star YouTuber who is known for sporting this look.
However, some fans loved her look because, well, they love Halsey. "Halsey looks so high fashion and elegant but I'm gonna be honest idk how to feel about the eyebrow situation but i’m sure in like 10 minutes i’ll love it cause i’m brainwashed," one fan said. Another added, "people trash halsey’s red carpet outifts all the time I’m so used to it that it doesn’t bother me anymore but here’s a fact: if you go to award shows to dress in regular ass clothes you’re BORING"
