'All American' Season 2 Episode 7: Billy and Laura scenes leave fans reaching for tissues
The latest episode of 'All American' titled 'Coming Home' gave the fans all kinds of feelings. For starters, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) had come to take dad Corey (Chad Coleman) home. The earlier episode revealed that Corey was battling cancer. There were several heartwarming moments with the whole family. However, the episode ended with Corey going inside the house to get Spencer's jacket, and is then found lifeless on a chair, by Spencer. It clearly seemed too good to be true, to see everyone happy for once.
Ouch. There were more emotional moments in the episode, including the one between Billy (Taye Diggs) and Laura (Monet Mazur), who seemed to be working out their differences in therapy. Fans are in a flux and are full of awe for the two of them.
One fan wrote, "I'm so glad Billy and Laura worked it out in therapy..."
Another was touched that Billy had kept every letter Laura had given him. "Awww! Billy saved every letter and note Laura ever gave him..."
One viewer wrote, "Billy keeping all of Laura’s notes and letters thru out their history. Hit me hard."
A fan noticed the parellels between Grace and Corey, and Billy-Laura. "The parallels right now with Grace/Corey and Laura/Billy. Damn. #AllAmerican."
Fans agreed that Laura had every right to be upset with Billy, but she needed to unfreeze and resolve issues with him. "Laura has every right to be upset but her attitude towards Billy is getting old tbh. Like I understand it's hard for her but at this point either try to make it work or separate because her being ice cold with Billy isn't doing anything for anyone especially her kids."
Another fan cheerfully wrote, "YES LAURA AND BILLY WE STAN."
"Awww Billy. It's so sweet that he kept that binder #AllAmerican," another fan wrote. " Applause for Billy and Laura finally talking," one fan tweeted.
