'All American' Season 2 Episode 4 preview reveals Layla's struggles with depression and a car crash that could stir things up
‘All America’ Episode 4 ‘They Reminisce Over You’ is all about addressing Layla’s depression, and how Spencer tries to bring the issue up to her.
There have been tantalizing hints about Layla’s (Greta Onieogou) depression on the show, but none of the characters have been able to pick up on it quickly yet. However, going by the promo of the fourth episode, Spencer’s (Daniel Ezra) concern for her behavior grows and he realizes that she is spiraling into depression.
In the promo, Olivia warns Spencer about the signs of depression. Olivia has come far from her addiction days and can recognize the signs when she sees it. In the previous episodes, it can be seen how determined Olivia is to help other people and being there for them during their difficult times. This season seems to have a promising storyline for Olivia, it is much to be hoped for that it continues that way.
While Spencer tries to talk to Layla about her depression, she yells at him to get out of her house. The promo ends with a car accident.
According to the synopsis of the episode, it is Billy (Taye Diggs), Corey (guest star Chad Coleman)and Grace’s (Karimah Westbrook) 25th High School Reunion which rakes up memories and some unfinished business. Laura (Monet Mazur) is upset when she finds out that Jordan (Evans Behling) has broken the rules of being grounded.
Directed by Greg Simon, the episode of All American will air on October 28, CW.
