'Alice' Episode 8 will see Tae-yi targeted again, will it be Jin-gyeom or Min-hyuk who saves her this time?
Whoever the 'Teacher' is in SBS sci-fi drama 'Alice', this person believes that Professor Tae-yi (Kim Hee-seon) has seen the Book of Prophecy and hence wants her taken care of. In the past, the same 'Teacher' had attacked another physicist who had the Book of Prophecy. At this time, Tae-yi and Min-hyuk, both of whom belonged to Alice took the book from the scientist and left the man who killed the physicist behind to be arrested by the cops. The little girl, who was the scientist's daughter was hidden under the table holding onto the last page from the book but no one knew she had the last piece of the puzzle.
This little girl could very well be Tae-yi as Jin-gyeom (Joo Won) has found a picture of her in the orphanage that Tae-yi went to and upon comparing the child's picture from the crime scene pictures in the record, he confirms that she is the same child too. So for now, many pieces of the puzzle that were missing initially has been found. There are a few left to go still, but then, to find those pieces, Jin-gyeom would have to put the pieces that he has already found together. For instance, why is Alice so interested in him, his mother, and now Tae-yi? Or why does a man who belongs to Alice -- Min-hyuk -- help Jin-gyeom and Tae-yi when the latter is attacked by an illegal time traveler?
In the promo, we also see Min-hyuk speak to his colleague at Alice, Shi-young, and ask her what she did to Tae-yi. Turns out Shi-young had met Tae-yi in a train and had told her not to return. Was this in the past when Min-hyuk and Tae-yi were on a mission to find the book and bring it back or was it later? The chances of it being later are less considering Tae-yi had transformed herself and lived as Jin-gyeom's mother Park Sun-young who is described even by her son as an average housewife. So was it something that Shi-young had said which had led to Tae-yi's decision of leaving Min-hyuk and Alice?
Also what led Min-hyuk to the theory that Shi-young had done something to Tae-yi anyway? This is something we will watch as the next episode airs. Along with this, we will also find out how Jin-gyeom or Min-hyuk continue to keep Professor Tae-yi safe in the present.
