Ali Wentworth shares adorable snap of George Stephanopoulos snoozing with family dog after she shows off gift from friend
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star George Stephanopoulos’ wife Ali Wentworth captured her husband snoozing with their family dog Cooper in the car.
The 58-year-old actress and producer took to Instagram stories and shared a snap of her husband sleeping while the family dog was also getting some rest on George’s lap.
However, Ali also shared a snap of a gift from a friend, which could have been the reason for George’s sleepiness.

The mother of two shared a snap of a bottle which turned out to be Amante 1530 Aperitivo Amaro, a newly-launched Italian alcoholic beverage.
This is a small gift that Ali received from a friend which came complete with fancy glasses to drink it in.
Aperitivo is a carbonated, bitter, and low-alcohol beverage, such as the Aperol spritz, which is made with Prosecco, Aperol, and a spritz of sparkling mineral water, as per Eataly.
She captioned the image, “Tonight just got sexier…” She also thanked her friend, the CEO of Amante 1530, Ana Rosenstein, simply by writing, “Thank you @anarosenstein.”
The next photo in her story was that of George sleeping away in the car with the family dog Cooper. The image was simply captioned, “Done.”
Ali and George have been finding ways to deal with being alone after seeing their daughter off to college. They've done things like hanging out in the desert, toasting marshmallows together, and spending time with Cooper.
Both of them have spoken at length about how difficult it has been to adjust to being empty nesters.

Only recently, the actress attended a gala hosted by Good + Foundation, a nonprofit meant to help dismantle multi-generational poverty, and admitted that these are “dark times” in her life.
Ali posed alongside comedians like Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer and was also spotted with Jim Gaffigan and Kevin Hart.

She captioned her carousel post, “During dark times laughter can be medicinal. @goodplusfdn raised money last night to scaffold low-income families and dismantle multi-generational poverty.”
She added, "Friends and family came together. And the best of the best comedians gave us a much-needed escape.”
Ali also performed a comedy set at the event, leaving everyone in splits.
