Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry - they are the two world-famous power couples who interest everyone around the globe.
So when reports started surfacing that the four of them went out on a double date together to a Miami restaurant in February, the internet broke down and fans got excited to know every detail of the outing.
But what a common man cannot do, Jimmy Fallon can, and this is what exactly happened when Rodriguez was invited to the American comedian's The Tonight Show on Monday night. The former baseball player was put in the hot seat about his dating life with fiancee Jennifer Lopez when he made his appearance in the show.
Without wasting time, Fallon jumped right into the hot topic as the 44-year-old star joined him on stage at the NBC studios in New York. “Did you and Jennifer Lopez recently go on a double date with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?” Fallon asked. “And if so, who paid?” But Rodriguez took his next step more smartly as he answered: “I signed an NDA.”
To which the American comedian jokingly replied, “Oh my God. So that means you did.” “Non-disclosure,” Alex reassured the host while Fallon added, “I'll take that as you did.”
The two power couples were spotted dining together at a Miami restaurant almost a month after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to step back from their royal duties to pursue a 'more peaceful life.' It was reported that the Royal couple bonded with the singer and the former baseball star on February 6, at the Habitat, a luxurious restaurant inside the 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami.
“Harry and Meghan got on really well with Jennifer and Alex and spent some time chatting with them over dinner. J-Lo was overheard inviting the couple and their baby Archie to her and Alex’s house in Miami to spend time with them and their kids,” a witness at the restaurant said.
The Sussexes are due to give up their royal titles at the end of the month as part of their Megxit departure deal. They will reportedly start their new life in North America as they hope for more privacy and normalcy. According to a Times report, Meghan has recently signed a deal to do voice-over work with Disney which will help the Elephants Without Borders charity. It has been said that the deal is a hint at her future path.
While on the other hand, Lopez and Rodriguez recently celebrated their first engagement anniversary and are reportedly planning a summer wedding this year.
