ALLEN, TEXAS: A Fox News guest is being blasted for saying people need to "have a plan to kill everyone you meet because you never know" after the Allen mass shooting. The suspect who killed eight people at an Allen shopping mall has been identified as Mauricio Garcia, 33. He was gunned down by a police officer who was in the area attending a different call on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Among the many who were injured, at least three remained in critical condition as of Sunday, May 7. Some of the deceased and injured were reportedly children.

Former US Marshal Special Deputy and 'active shooter instructor' Alex Coker spoke to Fox News about mass shootings and the threat. "Just like General Mattis once said be polite, be professional but have a plan to kill everyone you meet because you never know," Coker said. "If you're at your workplace something you might say could possibly cause someone to snap because they've had a very bad day." James Mattis, who Coker mentioned, is a retired Marine Corps general. He served as US Secretary of State for Defense from 2017 to 2019 under then-president Donald Trump.

'THIS makes me want to live in another country'

Coker is being slammed on social media for his comments, with one user tweeting, "Alex Coker and FOX News should be criminally charged for saying this Sunday in live broadcast that Americans who fear they may be a victim of the next shooting should "be polite and professional, but plan to kill everyone you meet." That is inciting to engage in blatant shootings". "Dear Alex Coker, lots of people have Very Bad Days and don't kill people. Don't. Just don't," another said. "THIS makes me want to live in another country," said one user.

"And people ask me why I left America for Australia," one user said, while another wrote, "When Mathis said that, he was talking about being an active duty Marine. It wasn’t supposed to be for schoolchildren and mall shoppers." "Great advice, @onelifetorisk Alex Coker! So that's what we should teach our pre-schoolers to keep them from being murdered. And how does that work when ur at an outdoor concert & a shooter is on the 32nd floor? Do u just blast away at the entire hotel? Curious minds want to know," one user wrote.
