'Alaskan Bush People' labeled a 'circus' after Browns rush to make animal shelters: 'Everything's for camera'

Fans were shocked to see that the Browns were this unprepared for the winter and wondered why wouldn't they keep the animal shelters ready before the storm came?

The Browns are under duress, courtesy the impending winter storm which they fear will impact the ostriches, horses, cows, cats and goats, among other animals. As per the norm, they sit down to discuss how they could fix the situation for the livestock as they had little to no access to lumber. After the chat, the family was able to agree on looking for wood in and around. During their little expedition, they found old, abandoned cabins and pulled out planks of wood using necessary tools and brought them back home to build a shelter for their animals.

It's snowy, freezing and a storm is coming. In such times, even so much a tiny hole on the wall can freeze up an entire room, and therefore, they need to ensure that the animals are comfortably nestled in. The family shared that they were worried if they would be able to get everything on time and reflected on how they should have been more prepared.

But that is not really the only thing that they're dealing with. The windmill and water heater needed fixing too. Bear, Snowbird and Noah worked through the issues and finally were able to get things going, which was a relief because the visibility had started to dip and the wind was chilly.

Meanwhile, fans shared their concerns over how the Browns unpreparedness will affect the animals. They even pointed out that all of it was staged and that the family has never been prepared for any life-threatening climate changes.

"You would think that being Bush People for all these years they would know to get their work done before winter, they know it's coming," a fan commented on the show's Facebook page, while another shared: "They don't do things like regular homesteaders because they aren't homesteaders. Everything is done for the camera. The Brown's don't do things when they should be doing them. They do things when the production company wants/tells them to."

"I've never seen a bunch of people work in complete chaos like they do. It's a darn circus," a user expressed. "So as a family they are happy to be portrayed as idiots as long as the pay is good. What solid integrity," another posted.
