PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Season 18 of 'America's Got Talent' continues to raise the bar with its jaw-dropping performers and impressive entertainers. On the fifth night of the audition rounds, a notable highlight was Simon Cowell losing his voice, resulting in him using a digital soundboard provided by Terry Crews to communicate with contestants and share his feedback, which delighted fellow judges Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum. Despite the setback, Simon managed to express his excitement for the standout performer of the night -- Lachune.

Lachune, a vocal teacher and aspiring songstress, delivered a truly moving rendition of Coldplay's 'Yellow' that touched the hearts of the audience. Previously hesitant to pursue her own musical dreams, Lachune seized the opportunity on center stage and delivered a breathtaking performance filled with emotion. Fans were left in awe and claimed it to be the most perfect rendition of the song they had ever heard.

Lachune's perfect Coldplay cover

Lachune, a 31-year-old performer, describes herself as a storyteller, vocal coach, and folkie-songster on her Facebook page, where she has nearly two thousand followers. During her AGT audition, Lachune shared that she grew up in South Carolina and came from a family of singers. Despite her passion for music, she never imagined herself being on stage. Teaching became her way of staying close to music, and she decided to take her own advice by stepping onto the 'AGT' stage.

Lachuné chose to sing Coldplay's popular song 'Yellow' for her audition, which received praise from the judges. Simon called it "fantastic" but also advised her to figure out her own unique style as a singer. "I love this audition too," Sofia said. "It was perfect. I wanted to keep listening to you. I loved it." Klum added, "I’m very happy that you put yourself first. And that you came today you showed us who you are. I have a feeling that you just scratched the surface of what you can do." “You showed us that these walls people feel like they’re stuck behind, you make them yourself,” Mandel said, adding, “You tore down that wall, and luckily you did, because you made your way right here and your life is about to change.”

Overwhelmed with emotion, Lachune wiped away tears as she received four "yes" votes from the judges. Howie acknowledged her bravery in breaking down the walls that hold people back, and he assured her that her life was about to change.

Another fan eagerly hoped that Coldplay would notice and said, "Wow, I hope @coldplay sees #AGT @lachunemusic with an awesome rendition of 'Yellow'!"

Adding a touch of humor, someone joked, "Now THIS is definitely an innovative choice for #AGT. It will be tough for the Sit-Down Comedian to make piano jokes about Coldplay." The excitement spilled over to Instagram, where fans shared their enthusiasm. One comment read, "I am so thrilled that you decided to do the audition! You were amazing, and your voice was soft and sweet. You killed it with that cover! Wishing you the best!"
