'Agents of SHIELD' Season 7 Episode 10: Daisy faces family drama with mom Jiaying and sister Kora in 'Stolen'
After the emotional rollercoaster that was Episode 9 'As I Have Always Been', 'Agents of SHIELD' Season 7 is returning to the main plot to face enemies old and new. Episode 10 'Stolen' will see the agents joining forces with Jiaying (Dichen Lachman) to stop her daughter Kora (Dianne Doan) and her new best friend Nathaniel Malick (Thomas E Sullivan).
Based on the synopsis for the upcoming episode, it looks like Malick might be adding even more Inhuman powers to his arsenal on top of having Daisy Johnson's (Chloe Bennet) Quake powers. And he's building an army as well so it seems Malick's goal right now is plain old overkill.
The synopsis also teases that Daisy will be tasked with protecting her mother Jiaying. Considering how badly things went between them in the modern-day, there's no telling how that whole interaction will play out, especially since Jiaying is yet to even conceive Daisy. That's just the sort of confusing situation you find yourself in when you're a time-traveling superhero.
Daisy will also have to deal with her half-sister whom she knew nothing about until very recently. How that's going to go down is really anyone's guess but one way or another, both Kora and Nathaniel have got to go. Both of these would-be anarchists are people who were supposed to die but cheated fate thanks to the meddling of the Chronicoms. If SHIELD really wants to reset the timeline, they're going to have to kill these villains before they end up irreparably changing the course of history.
Here's the synopsis for Episode 10 'Stolen': "After Enoch’s sacrifice propelled them out of the time storm, the team arrives back in 1983 where Nathaniel and Kora are hard at work building an army of hand-selected anarchist Inhumans at Afterlife. When the agents split up to cover more ground, Daisy is tasked with protecting Jiaying and is compelled to confront her mother for the first time since her death; while the others quickly learn they’ll need to face yet another supercharged former enemy in order to stop Malick."
'Agents of SHIELD' Season 7 airs Wednesdays at 10 pm ET on ABC.
