OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA: The mother of one of the most notorious gunmen Salvador Ramos, was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill her boyfriend. Adriana Martinez Reyes, 40, was charged with assault, battery, and threatening an act of violence after an incident in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, January 4.
When Reyes was arrested she reportedly told the police that her son is the "one that killed all of the children in the Uvalde Texas shooting," reported The New York Times. One of the most terrifying mass shootings in US history took place on May 24, 2022, when gunmen Ramos first shot his grandmother in the face and stormed Robb Elementary School in Uvalde with a rifle, killing 19 children and two teachers before he was shot dead. The police's response to the shooting was also heavily criticized after infuriating surveillance footage from the hallway of the school showed scores of officers waiting in the hallway for about 75 minutes before attempting to confront the shooter.

The police report stated, Reyes was arrested after her boyfriend allegedly called the police and said she was threatening to kill him. The boyfriend who was living with her said, Reyes "became angry with him and told him before she moves out of this house she is going to kill him." He also added that "he thinks that she will kill him while he sleeps and he is terrified of her." Reyes responded to the situation by saying her boyfriend was "crazy" but that she stayed with him because "he is not that bad and I love him," reported Daily Mail. The 40-year-old was arrested and held at Oklahoma County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.
Reyes's arrest came days after police responded to another incident at the same address on New Year's Day over a domestic violence issue. At that time, the alleged victim told police he planned to get a protection order against Reyes, reported the source. However, Reyes's profile notes she is engaged, along with many posts that refer to the shooting massacre carried out by her son Ramos. Her recent post from December 15 read, "I pray no one as a parent or sibling or grandparent, spouse or child ever has to experience this torment of losing their loved ones in such a horrific matter as the ONE that was brought upon MY SON, there are no words that I can say or even tell myself that it will get better , I'm sorry to the beautiful lives that were lost including My OWN child," Reyes said. "I pray that there at peace each and every one of them."
