Adam Pally is currently on tour promoting his role on NBC's 'Indebted,' but that's not his only recent onscreen appearance. Adam Pally and Jason Sudeikis were both seen on 'The Mandalorian,' though you may have missed that fact if you didn't read the credits. The two actors were completely covered in Stormtrooper armor, in a hilarious scene that opened the Season 1 finale, during with both actors famously punched the much-beloved Baby Yoda.

Baby Yoda had, at the time, been captured by the Stormtroopers in order to bring the child to Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). While waiting for further orders, Baby Yoda, at several points, attempted to rustle out of the bag he was trapped in, prompting the leading Stormtrooper to whack the child into silence. When the second Stormtrooper lowered the bag enough to get a better look at the child, he was bitten, which led him to punch Baby Yoda squarely in the head. Fans online were shocked and outraged, and both Pally and Sudeikis have received tweets of mock-rage from a fan base devoted to keeping Baby Yoda safe at all costs.

While talking to MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) correspondent Alana Jordan on the red carpet NBC's Winter Press Tour, he was asked to respond to those who asked how he could possibly hurt Baby Yoda. "Look, obviously I didn't really punch a baby," Pally said, though he clarified, "Not that I wouldn't. I just didn't at that time."

Baby Yoda, as the internet, has come to know the mysterious, green, long-eared and long-unnamed entity on 'The Mandalorian,' is actually portrayed by an animatronic puppet onscreen. Given how expensive that puppet was to create - $5 million dollars, according to some reports - it seems unlikely that either Pally or Sudeikis got to punch even that.

'Indebted' stars Adam Pally, Steven Weber, and Abby Elliott, and premieres on NBC on February 6. All episodes of 'The Mandalorian' are available to stream on Disney+.
