'Why are they making them do this?'

'The Bachelorette' Season 20 viewers were seemingly furious over Charity and Dotun's bungee jumping date. A Twitter user wrote, "Why are they making them do this??? It’s The Bachelorette not Fear Factor." Another viewer tweeted, "I really wish producers would stop forcing leads to do things they clearly do not want to do. Like stop making them go bungee jumping and skydiving if they do not want to." Another user noted, "They sent two black ppl to jump off a cliff 😭😭😭😭 both of them are fighting for their lives! Which producer set them up?! 💀." Another person said, "Never tell the producers you have a fear of heights. They WILL throw you off a bridge." Another follower added, "Ok there’s a difference between “facing your fears” and “making your lead cry on television” poor charity." Another critic stated, "Petition to stop making contestants bungee jump off this damn bridge."
