‘For Life’ Episode 1 sees fans congratulate 50 Cent on new hit show, call it ‘perfect' for Black History Month
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson’s latest show loosely based on the real-life story of Isaac Wright Jr. titled ‘For Life’ premiered on ABC on February 11. The legal drama follows Aaron Wallace, who is serving a life sentence for a crime he never committed in the first place.
Only one episode in and ‘For Life’ is already being termed a “hit” by fans, who can’t stop raving about 50 Cent's yet another brilliant creation and the show's interesting cast. The viewers have also noted that the timing for the premiere of a show which premises on the much-prevalent social issue of racism couldn’t have been better as it’s been broadcast in the Black History Month.
“One fan Facts!!! #PowerTV RT @theonly_LP: This a perfect show for Black History Month @ForLife_ABC thank you @50cent I’m hella inspired #ForLife,” tweeted a fan.
“50 cents #ForLife... Another Winner! Wouldn't doubt if every episode was based on a true story... I see this series breaking television records.. This is my #Timecapsule tweet 20 years from now,” wrote another.
‘For Life’ has earned the appreciation of the audience for doing its bit in spreading awareness besides serving up a good piece of entertainment. One of them noted, “You produce hit after hit shows like you select tight beats for club bangers @50cent This show brings attention to the judicial system. Maybe voters will pay attention to who they elect. Senators, Congress, & Judges matter too not just the President”
Meanwhile, ABC’s latest offering has struck the right chord with fans by presenting a story that has them grabbing for the tissues.
“I watched #ForLife and WOW! I was captivated and at times in tears and others angry at the injustice. Great performance @50cent. I can't wait until next week!,” expressed an awe-struck fan. Another added, "I'm sitting up here crying. Aaron has got to get out for his family and to help the inmates.#ForLife"
‘For Life’ airs on Tuesdays on ABC.
