Episode 8 of ‘The Voice’ Season 19 saw the final battles going down between the rest of the contestants. Singers Aaron Scott and Ian Flanigan locked horns on the stage from Team Blake over Creedence’s popular number ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain.’ All the judges – Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and John Legend – seemed completely floored during the battle rounds.

Both Ian and Aaron earned praises from all the judges where John Legend even spoke to them about their powerful voices and the wide range both the singers have. After listening to all the judges and sharing his thought on the battle round, Blake Shelton, in the end, picked singer Ian Flanigan adding that he has the most captivating voice from this season. Ian will now be moving to the Knockout round. Unfortunately, no other coach saved Aaron Scott and he had to cut short his journey here and go home disappointed.

The internet also seemed impressed with the battle round. Speaking about the same, one user tweeted, “Aaron has a clearer voice that I feel is more versatile. He can easily go into the rock lane or country & sing more alternative songs. Aaron is my winner of this battle.” One user expressed, “Ian Flanigan vs Aaron Scott. Ian kicks it off with that gruff and guitar, Aaron is smoother but seems a lil intimidated. This fits better on Ian and he’s making the most of it, comfortably relaxed but still engaging. Nice ending. #TheVoice #VoiceBlinds” Another added, “@aaron_scott19 Aaron, I’m so bummed that @blakeshelton didn’t pick you! I know that you have what it takes to be on @NBCTheVoice Please come back again and a different coach.” One stated, “@NBCTheVoice how could @blakeshelton  not vote for his son @IanFlanigan #TheVoice”

From Episode 7 of the ‘The Voice’ Season 19, we saw Blake Shelton opting for Jim Ranger over John Sullivan. Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, went for Desz over Joseph Soul, however, the latter was saved by Gwen Stefani who currently has Chloe Hogan in her team from the battle round. John Legend chose John Holiday over Julia Cooper but also saved her later for his own team to make sure her journey continues in the competition. With the latest additions, this is how all the team stands. Team Kelly has Madeline Consoer, Sid Kingsley (steal), Desz, and Tanner Gomes.  Team Gwen consists of Payge Turner, Joseph Soul (steal), and Chloe Hogan whereas, Team Legend has bagged Tamara Jade, Lauren Frihauf (steal), Bailey Rae, John Holiday, and Julia Cooper (save). R&B icon Usher, who has been a coach in one of the earlier seasons of ‘The Voice’ will also be returning as a Mega Mentor on Season 19 of the singing reality show. The battle rounds will see the coaches enlisting the music industry powerhouses Leon Bridges, Miguel, Kane Brown and Julia Michaels to prepare their artists to go head-to-head in hope of advancing to the knockouts. Kane Brown will work with Team Blake, Julia Michaels joins Team Gwen, Leon Bridges assists Team Kelly, while Miguel will lend his support to Team Legend.
