Aaron Carter questions paternity of ex-girlfriend Melanie's baby, calls face tattoo of her name a 'mistake'
Aaron Carter got a tattoo of his then-girlfriend Melanie Martin but the pair ended up going their separate ways soon after. Carter finally opened up about the relationship when he appeared in an interview with Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn for their podcast.
Carter confirmed that he and Martin were done while shedding some light on where they stand. "The definition of insanity. Am I upset? Of course. Do I feel taken advantage of? Of course. I felt like I was with someone that didn't look me in my eyes," he said.
Carter hinted that communication had been a new issue in their relationship while adding that she "wasn't organic". He further revealed she had been doing "things behind my back she shouldn't have been doing, making promises she couldn't keep", as reported by Daily Mail.
Despite this, Carter made it clear that he was always going to be there for his child as he said, "I'm going to make a great father regardless of the situation." He further revealed that he was looking forward to becoming a father. "Yeah of course.... If that's the actual situation. We'll see," he said.
While Carter admitted he was happy about taking on the role of a parent, he confessed he was not too sure about the paternity as he said, "What do you think? Well, that answer should give you an inkling." During the interview, Carter also touched upon why he had so many tattoos. He revealed he used tattoos to "look tough because I was so scrawny as a defense mechanism".
Carter has many tattoos on his body and one of them is of his ex-girlfriend, Martin. Carter has 'Melanie' written on his face. That says "mistake, that's not Melanie", he said while revealing that she had been asking him for another chance. However, it seems like Carter has made up his mind to not have any connection with Martin as he has already moved on with another woman.
Carter recently started dating Viktoria Alexeeva and made the relationship official on social media by sharing a picture of them with the caption, "My life my choices." While Martin and Carter had broken up a few weeks after the pregnancy announcement, it looks like he has made up his life about who he wants and doesn't in his life.
