Spoilers ahead for season 2 episode 5 'Austin' of 'A Million Little Things'

Episode 5 'Austin' of season 2 of 'A Million Little Things' proved to be good for Eddie (David Giuntoli) and Katherine (Grace Park).

The couple had shared a tumultuous rapport since the beginning of season 2. In episode 1 'Coming Home', Eddie had come out clean about Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) and his baby. After this, Katherine had taken some time off of their marriage and left the house to briefly live with her mother. She comes back home for Theo (Tristan Byon), but even then things between Eddie and Katherine are nowhere close to being repaired.

It isn't until Katherine makes a staunch decision that she wants this marriage repaired that the couple begins to move on from the disaster. Up until then, it is Eddie who is trying to keep their marriage together, taking care of the house and Theo.

When Katherine tells her assistant Carter (Sam Pancake) that she is trying to make things work, he tells her that when it comes to repairing a relationship, there is no such thing as "trying", that you are either all in or all out - that there is no middle ground.

In 'Austin', Eddie discovers that Katherine wishes to move to Austin - move away from everything that had gone wrong here and begin anew. At the same time, she says she realizes that they can't move because Eddie needs to be here for his daughter with Delilah.

To lighten the mood, Eddie and Katherine go to an open house, where Eddie becomes Edward and Katherine becomes Kat - a couple looking to move to the city from Austin. It looks like sweet back and forth too - together they make it seem to an unsuspecting agent that they are potential customers. They then get inside the walk-in closet of the master bedroom and have sex.

Later that episode, after the family has come back from the family photograph session at Delilah's, Theo asks his parents about having a new young sister like Charlie. Katherine tells him that they might not have more children.

But this brief conversation along with their sex scene from earlier in the episode seems to be foreshadowing a pregnancy. "Are they setting it up for an Eddie/Katherine baby? Sex in a closet, then saying they aren’t gonna have more kids. Literally seems like a set up for them to end up pregnant later," said a fan. Hardly the best thing for them to be doing now considering how everything is still a mess. Plus if the show is going to take the route of a 'child to repair the marriage', it is going to upset some already angry fans.

In fact, much of the show's fandom was looking forward to Katherine walking out on Eddie along with Theo - this way, they hoped to see her avenged. But it doesn't look like the creators are going to take this route.

'A Million Little Things' airs on Thursdays at 9|8c on ABC.
