Spoilers ahead for Season 2 Episode 3 of 'A Million Little Things'

There is a decent update on Eddie (David Giuntoli) and Katherine's (Grace Park) front this episode. Theo (Tristan Byon) is invited for a sleepover. The little kid, eager to give his parents some time to spend by themselves, is found by his parents packing for the night. Even though Eddie and Katherine are surprised by his interest in the sleepover, it is clear that he wants his parents to work out together. He even wakes up earlier than his parents (after the trio spent the night in his fort) to make them breakfast. Is this boy the most adorable or what!

The couple is home alone after a long time. The air around them is not only tense but also awkward. Katherine suggests that they should go out to eat and end up playing pool at a bar.

There, the tension between Eddie and Katherine seems to vanish. They start joking in between playing pool and share a kiss after flirting. Almost as if struck by a revolting thought, Katherine pulls away and tells Eddie that this is a completely new territory for her. Owing to everything that has happened over the last episodes, Katherine is still trying to figure out what their relationship means and what their next step should be.

And so, she adds that she will probably be giving him mixed signals as she decides what she should do. Eddie says he is okay with this arrangement and that he will "follow her lead." Well, after everything that he has put Katherine through, he better follows her lead and not mess it up this time.

And fans are also happy with this development. "It's so good seeing Eddie and Katherine having some fun together! Really hope it gets all good for them," said one.

Others have already started calling them 'family goals.' "Katherine, Eddie and Theo are in the car and Eddie is the one who is driving is the definition of family goals if Eddie didn't sleep with his best friend's wife and had a daughter from her."

It remains uncertain just what turns their relationship will take. Katherine is still deciding.
