The identity of 'A' who had chatted with B.I in the reported illegal drugs purchase has now been identified as former trainee Han Seo Hee.  According to a report by news outlet Edaily, their investigators found that 'A' is Han Seo Hee.

She was also previously involved in TOP's marijuana case and was also indicted for smoking marijuana with TOP twice in October 2016. Han was also accused of purchasing LSD on two different occasions.

She was sentenced to four years of probation with the possibility of a three-year prison sentence if she commits a repeat offense while she is still on probation. The Seoul Central District Court also ordered 120 hours of drug rehab for her.

When Han was arrested in 2016, the police discovered messages between her and B.I on her mobile phone. When authorities questioned her about the delivery of LSD to B.I, she shared that she delivered it on May 3, 2016, in front of iKON's dormitory.

She later changed her testimony during the third round of questioning and shared that while B.I had asked for the drugs she had not gotten it for him. Once the chat messages were revealed, B.I apologized and also announced his plans to leave iKON, as we had reported earlier. YG Entertainment also confirmed that B.I had left the group and had his exclusive contract terminated with the agency.

B.I took to Instagram to share, "It is Kim Han Bin. First of all, I apologize for the inconvenience caused by my inappropriate actions. It is true that I wanted to rely on things that I should never be interested in while I was in distress and hardship briefly in the past. But I did not because I was afraid and scared. However, I am also ashamed and apologize to you and the members who are greatly disappointed and hurt because of my wrong actions. I want to leave my team and humbly reflect on my mistakes."
