'90 Day Fiancé The Other Way': Deavan Clegg claims a family member tried to kidnap her while she was pregnant with her second child
Season one of '90 Day Fiancé The Other Way' has come to an end and after the tell-all interview viewers were updated on Jihoon Lee and Deavan Clegg's relationship. The pair stated that they were still going strong and even though the move to Korea had been hard for Deavan, she added that it wasn't an impossible thing to get adjusted to.
The viewers got to see Deavan struggling to communicate with Jihoon's friends and family but it seems like the reality star has finally found her way around things. But many fans wondered why Jihoon wasn't moving to the US even though he has a clean record, unlike his fellow cast members. Taking to Instagram, Deavan finally addressed the questions as she revealed that a particular incident with her family member forced her to leave the US. "I noticed that the show never showed the reason why I moved," she wrote on her Instagram stories.
"I was waiting for the tell-all but they never showed it," she further added. "A lot of people have been wondering Jihoon can realistically move to the US at any time but we decided to move to Korea so I could be a stay at home mom and raise our children."
Deavan further added that Jihoon would have to be fluent in English if he wanted to find a good job in the US while revealing that she wasn't safe in the US. "I was in danger and America became a very unsafe place for me due to a family member." She continued, "This family member tried to kidnap me and steal my car while I was pregnant. This action is what made us fully decide to move to Korea." Deavan revealed that she is not safe because this family member is still out there.
"My family member is a dangerous person," she wrote. "So, I will be in Korea for a long time because for some reason they keep letting her out of jail." While Deavan feels safe staying in Korea she still hopes that she and Jihoon could move back to the US and start a new life. Until then, the pair plans on raising their children there.
