Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre got the happy ending that they had been hoping to find on the show. The pair got engaged despite having many ups and downs. Biniyam had been waiting to ask Ariela to marry him for a long time. He decided to make the occasion extra special as he planned a proposal while they celebrated Timket.

Timket is a festival that is celebrated in Ethiopia every year. Biniyam revealed during the festival that a guy would throw a lemon at the girl he liked. If the girl were to accept the lemon, it would mean she had accepted his proposal. Ariela joked and asked Biniyam if he would be throwing a lemon at her.

Little did she know Biniyam had other plans up his sleeves. He decided to hide a wedding ring inside the lemon. He tried to distract her and once she did, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Ariela instantly said yes and admitted her life has been nothing like what she had imagined.

She admitted it was a shock for her to move to another country but added that it was a wonderful feeling to have her family as a whole. Ariela admitted they had come a long way and she was now going to focus on building their life together. Even though her parents had wanted her to move back, the season hinted that Ariela would continue to stay in Ethiopia.

Even after the show has come to an end, Ariela did not change her mind. The reality star is still in Ethiopia and has been spending time with Biniyam and his family. She often takes to social media to share some of the pictures and videos of their life in Ethiopia. At the same time, Biniyam too seems to be happy as he shares their pictures on social media.

According to their social media page, the pair continue to stay in Ethiopia. Ariela often replies to her fans and answers questions about her life in Ethiopia. Even though she had her doubts about staying in the country, it looks like she has finally fallen in love with the place.

The season finale of the show aired on Sunday, November 29, at 8 pm ET on TLC.
