Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio have won the hearts of the viewers with their love story. However, just like most of the stories out there, their life has not been a smooth ride. Kenneth and Armando recently got engaged and hinted that they would be spending the rest of their life in Mexico.

With Armando having his daughter and family in the country, Kenneth seemed supportive of being by his side and raising his daughter there. However, the latest episode (August 24) raised questions about how their life would be in Mexico being two gay men after the pair were verbally abused. Kenneth's daughters had come to Mexico to celebrate the joyous occasion of their engagement and they were having a wonderful time with Armando. Right from eating delicious food to finding out how to use a toilet with no flush, there is no doubt that a lot of memories were made in that short span of time.

While Kenneth and Armando enjoyed their night, one of the guests, who had been sitting in the restaurant decided to pass a homophobic comment in Mexican. Even though Kenneth and his daughters failed to understand what the man had said, Armando was not too happy about how things turned out.

He became emotional and started doubting how they would spend the rest of their life in a country that did not respect or appreciate people who were gay. Kenneth's daughters too were worried about how their father would survive in a country that was not too welcoming of people who were gay.

However, Kenneth had different views on how things went. He was quick to explain to Armando how it was important for him to stay strong and ignore all the negativity that was coming his way. He further explained that by breaking down, Armando was giving more power to the man who had insulted him.

Hinting that it was important to stay strong and be proud of oneself, Kenneth tried to assure Armando that everything would be fine. Unfortunately, his words were not enough to calm Armando down. Previously, Armando had revealed that he was not comfortable with PDA because of how people looked at gay people in the country.

Now hearing someone openly criticizing them, Armando did not feel comfortable. Seeing Armando like this, Kenneth feared that it would push Armando back into his shell that he had managed to come out of. Will the two change their mind and move to the US or will this affect their relationship?

'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way' airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
