'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way' star Aladin Jallali wants the public to know more about his relationship with Laura after the tell-all episode failed to completely tell his side of the story. The reality star chose to come forward and clear the air about his relationship after he thought that he was put in a spot during the tell-all episode.
Laura claimed that Aladin left her for money and decided to end their relationship out of the blue. However, Aladin revealed that his decision to end the marriage had been stemming from various instances that had occurred throughout their relationship. To begin with, the reality star revealed that Laura catfished him into thinking that she was younger.
" was catfished. Plain and simple. When Laura and I met online, she shared photos that portrayed her to be much younger than she is. Her photos, as I discovered later, were highly edited," he wrote on Instagram. The reality star revealed that this was spoken about by her even during the show but the producers did not pay much attention to it.
"She told me she was 40 years old and I believed her. I did not even know she was using fake hair extensions, etc. When we met in person, I was surprised but I already had feelings for the person I thought she was," he further added. Aladin also revealed that they had planned to get married even before they decided to meet face-to-face.
"She wanted to say the story about me proposing after a few days in a café because she thought it would make our storyline more interesting. I discovered her age when we went for the marriage license and they asked for her passport. That is when I saw her age was in the fifties and not 40 as she told me," he said.
Aladin later confronted Laura who reportedly lied again. However, the truth came forward when he saw Laura's birth certificate. Later, Laura admitted that she had lied about her age but it did not matter to Aladin because he already had feelings for Laura for the person she is. At the same time, the reality star also revealed that Laura was out of the pension and he was helping her get by.
He cleared the air regarding money issues in their relationship by stating that he helped Laura in every way possible and had even sent her money in the US to get his visa process started. However, Laura reportedly lied to him and did get any paperwork done. While Aladin is alright about not moving to the US, he did not think it was right that the show negatively portrayed him.
Aladin made it clear during the tell-all episode that he would want a divorce with Laura. As the reality star was under a contract he could not spill the details of the marriage but now, since the show is over, he has come forward and tried to clear his name because of all the allegations against him.
