Ronald Smith and Tiffany Franco managed to get married after a lot of ups and downs but it looks the goings have not been smooth for them. Ronald met Tiffany when she had come to South Africa for a trip. While the trip was supposed to be a nice getaway, Tiffany had never imagined she would find her future husband there.

While their relationship seemed like a dream come true, Tiffany was in for a rude shock when she found out that  Ronald had a gambling addiction. She struggled to find a solution and questioned their relationship but the pair managed to get back on track to save it from biting the dust. Eventually, Tiffany married Ronald but she was certain she did not want to stay in South Africa.

She was worried about the safety of her son from her previous marriage and thought South Africa would steal the opportunities that would be otherwise available to them. Things took an unexpected turn when Tiffany found out she was pregnant with her second child. She decided to go back to the US to give birth as she was not happy to see the condition of the hospitals in South Africa.

Tiffany and Ronald have been having their differences when it comes to making a decision about how they should move forward in life. While Tiffany wants to remain in the US, due to Ronald's gambling addiction it has become hard for him to get approved for the visa. This has been creating a lot of strain in their relationship. To make matters worse, trust issues have also been an issue between the couple. Since they are being divided by distance, the pair has been finding it hard to have faith in their relationship. The preview for the upcoming episode (May 25) of the show hinted that the couple is trying to work on their marriage through counseling.

As they spend their time apart and quarantine at their respective places, Tiffany revealed she was finding it hard to take care of both her children alone. Meanwhile, Ronald stated he would love to take care of the children but had to be away because of his visa. Even though Ronald had a visa interview set, coronavirus pandemic put pause on the visa processing. It seems like it has been taking a toll on their marriage as they try to sail through with the help of counseling sessions but will it be enough to save the sinking boat?

'90 Day Fiancé: Self Quarantined' airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
