'90 Day Fiancé': Blake and Jasmin finally meet as his family thinks she's in it for the green card
The day had finally come when Blake and Jasmin were set to meet. However, things did not shape out to turn out the way he had intended them to. Blake met Jasmin when he decided to join a dating site that was suggested by his friend. Within a day he got a request from Jasmin and the two started their conversation which soon became the reason that Blake fell for Jasmin.
However, he had his doubts about her as he believed he was being catfished by someone or that it might all be a scam. His worries disappeared when the pair video chatted and he realized that Jasmin was indeed the same person in the pictures. While the two have spent a tood number of days together that also resulted in a wedding proposal, Blake was his family and friends being cautious and doubtful about the relationship. One of the red flags in the relationship happened to be Jasmin's sister, Janette, who lived just 10 minutes away from Blake's place.
Janette was lucky as she landed a place in the green card lottery but Jasmin happened to be among the unlucky ones. When Blake first started talking to Jasmin he thought she was living in LA but was later shocked to find out that she stayed in Finland. Despite this, the two got engaged and Jasmin was finally coming to the US. While Blake was excited to go pick up his fiancee, he realized that they had to make a stop in the middle to pick up his sister. A blanket of awkwardness covered their conversation as the two did not have enough to talk about to turn anything into a conversation.
Luckily for Blake, he did not have to engage in the conversation for long as they quickly arrived at the airport where Jasmin was waiting for them. However, things did not seem too comfortable between Jasmin and Blake as well as the pair did not engage in a full-length conversation.
Even though they were staying at a hotel for the first few days, Jasmin did not look excited to finally be with Blake. Blake's family and friends already have their doubts about the relationship as they believe Jasmin is in it for the green card but will their doubts turn out to be true?
