Kim came to Tanzania to join Usman while he was shooting the music video for his song 'Zara'. Usman has been quite vague about the song's origins to Kim, saying that it was a name he used to refer to all the women across the world. However, his confessionals tell a different story.
Who is Zara?
Zara is Usman's ex-girlfriend, the woman he saw before he started dating Kim. Usman revealed that he met Kim two weeks after talking to Zara. While he was madly in love with her, Zara could not handle the female attention Usman was getting and called it quits. She is also from the USA and closer to Usman in age than his ex-wife Lisa and now girlfriend Kim. Usman also revealed that he broke up with Zara four months ago. As reported by ScreenRant, Zara was supposed to be on this season alongside Usman instead of Kim. But due to issues with his female fans, she stepped back. However, she does allegedly have a contract with TLC. If that's the case, fans might get to see Zara in the future.
How does this affect his relationship now?
Usman felt as though he needed to come clean to Kimberly about his relationship with Zara. Unfortunately, she did not take it too well, especially when she found out that he was still dating Zara while they were talking (Kim and Usman had been talking for a year before they met). Upon learning that the song was actually for Zara, Kim stated that her coming to Tanzania was a mistake. She felt like a fool, having invested this much time and energy into this relationship.
What do you think? Are Usman and Kim headed for a breakup? Will they be able to make it through this issue? Or is it just some casual '90 Days' drama to keep fans invested? Sound off in the comments below.
