'90 Day Fiancé' star Geoffrey Paschel faces criminal charges for allegedly choking and hitting ex-girlfriend
Geoffrey Paschel is set to make his television debut by appearing on '90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days' along with his love interest Varya. However, the reality star has been accused of assault and kidnapping by his ex-girlfriend. Paschel appeared in the court on Friday, January 17 and claimed that the accusations have been put by his ex-girlfriend to sabotage his ongoing child custody battle with another woman.
Paschel was arrested in June when his then-girlfriend claimed that he attacked her in the Rocky Hill home they shared, as reported by Knox News. "He repeatedly bashed/slammed my head into the hardwood floors of my home," the petition stated. "He dragged me through the house by my hair and continued throwing my body into walls and furniture. I know this because of blood on my walls, furniture, etc."
Paschel reportedly disabled her phone which did not allow her to call 911 for help. Luckily, she was able to flee to a neighbor's house to make the call. He was then taken into custody that night while the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment where she was diagnosed with a concussion.
The woman has come forward and accused him of "pushing, hitting, choking" while adding that she was verbally abused by the reality star on four different occasions. Paschel is set to make another court appearance on March 26. However, outside the courtroom, he denied these allegations.
Meanwhile, he did not comment if he is still involved with Varya, who he is set to appear on the show with. The two met on a dating site after Paschel decided to create an account after getting a divorce from his wife. While the show hinted that Psachel is all set to propose to Varya, it is uncertain if the two really got engaged.
'90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days' airs on February 23 at 8 pm ET.
