'90 Day Fiancé': From being catfished to failing in love, fans think Yolanda and David are made for each other
'90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days' saw many couples traveling across the world to meet the love of their lives. However, among them were two people who had been trying hard to come face to face with their online partners who they had been talking to for a while. The first person to be introduced to the audience was Yolanda.
Yolanda had been talking to her boyfriend William online but the two had never seen each other. The only way Yolanda could put a face to William's name was through his Instagram pictures. Even though there had been instances where Yolanda had requested William for a video call, her efforts were futile as there were countless excuses that were presented to her.
William, who according to Yolanda lived in the UK, had even requested her to send some money. When things became a bit too suspicious, Yolanda decided that it would be best for her to fly to the UK and meet him. However, she was a bit alarmed when William did not know the exact airport where she should land and later, he even deleted his Instagram profile altogether.
While everyone was convinced that William was catfishing Yolanda, her mind and heart found that hard to believe. However, she was not alone on this boat. It so happened that this season had another person who was sailing the same boat as Yolanda. This was 60-year-old David Murphey who had been talking to the love of his life, Lana, for seven years.
The two met on a chatting site and have been talking since then. While David is convinced that Lana is the one for him, countless incidents force us to question if he should be so sure. One of the red flags was when David revealed that he could talk to Lana only on one chat site where he has to pay per minute. He revealed that though he has video called her, the website does not allow people to hear the other person.
To make matters worse, David revealed that in these seven years he had tried to meet Lana thrice and every time she came up with excuses for not meeting him. The first time she ditched without an explanation. The second time she said that her brother was not well and the third time she told him that she was unwell as she had to undergo a surgery.
While it might sound like David is being played by Lana, he is certain that Lana is the one for him. However, looking at how Yolanda and David are being played around, fans think that the two should ditch their partners and get together.
In fact, the two also hail from the same city and fans think it would be easier for the two to meet and get to know each other. "David should just get with Yolanda! They are both in Vegas," read one comment. Another added, "David and Yolanda should hook up since they both live in Vegas and they're both being catfished."
One fan said, "David needs to reroute his ticket to go hang with Yolanda. They are both talking to fake people." Another said, "David & Yolanda should get together. They’re age appropriate, live in the same city & are both real. Problem solved."
While it might seem like an eventful turn of events, we will just have to wait and watch what fate has in store for them.
