'90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days': Geoffrey worries Varya will reject him if she learns of his criminal past
Geoffrey Paschel met his Russian girlfriend, Varya, online and after spending months talking, he thought that it was time the two met in reality. In today's episode (March 1), Geoffrey was all set to meet the love of his life but there were a few concerns continued to plague his mind.
Speaking to the camera, Geoffrey confessed that he hadn't been completely honest with Varya. The reality star confessed that his past has not been pleasant and he got into drug dealing to make ends meet when he was young. He recalled that he had to turn to drug dealing as there were days when his family did not have food to eat.
However, it did not last long as he was arrested and was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Geoffrey stated that this had been a secret that he had kept from Varya for a long time and added that he was worried this would affect their relationship. While this secret could be a deal-breaker for them, there were other things that Geoffrey was also worried about.
For instance, Geoffrey questioned if there would be a spark between them when they met in person. Even though the two had spent months talking over the phone, Geoffrey was aware that sometimes, things can be different when one meets face-to-face. After losing his child and getting divorced, Geoffrey feels he's not ready to go through the pain of losing someone he loves once again.
He told his sons, Paxton and Dakota Paschel that he was ready to take the risk in this relationship because he wanted to find happiness again. However, his sons expressed their concern about the relationship turning out to be different than Geoffrey has imagined it to be. They think the two have not known each other enough to jump into a serious relationship.
They even questioned his decision about traveling halfway across the world just to meet a person he had never met in person. However, Geoffrey was certain that this relationship was worth all the trouble.
