These are 9 not so well known remedies to cure common beauty problems:
1) Strawberry paste to cure razor burns
Razor burns and bumps are super painful and itchy. In order to effectively reduce the swelling and the discomfort, mash some strawberries together with sour cream and apply it to the affected area. Leave the mixture on for around 10-15 minutes before washing off. The anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties in strawberries will benefit your skin greatly.
2) Black lentils to deal with hair split ends
When women get split ends, their first impulse is to rush to the parlor for a trim. However, black lentils can help you get rid off split ends. Make a hair mask using grounded black lentils, one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, and add some yogurt to this mixture. Apply this to your hair and then make sure to wash it off with warm water after an hour.
3) Mixture of lemon and baking soda to get rid of nail stains
Make a thick paste out of one tablespoon of soda, half a teaspoon of olive oil and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Make sure to mix the paste well so that it is of a thick consistency. In order to apply it to your nails, use an old toothbrush. Leave the mixture on your nails for around 5 minutes. For the most effective results, repeat this procedure once every two weeks.
4) Activated charcoal can help with whitening teeth
It is ironic that dark black charcoal can help you to get white teeth! Crush one tablet of activated charcoal and make a paste out of it using water. Gently apply the paste on your teeth and leave for around 3 minutes. Rinse your mouth after 3 minutes and you are camera ready! Refrain from using this procedure frequently as charcoal can often be too harsh on your teeth.
5) Avocado to treat the frizziest of hair
A combination of avocado and yogurt is useful for damaged or frizzy hair. To make a mask, you need to mash up some avocado and mix it with some yogurt. Proceed to apply this to your hair and keep it on your hair for 45 minutes. Proceed to rinse it off. In order to get the best results, repeat this process twice a week.
6) Aspirin is more than a medicine and can be used as a callus remover
Aspirin is a fantastic remedy to deal with painful calluses. All you need to do is crush up around 4 tablets of aspirin into a powder and mix it up with some water as well as lemon juice.
