In the realm of Hollywood, a number of stunning celebrities have encountered difficulties stemming from less-than-ideal experiences with plastic surgery. Be it procedures that deviated from their intended outcomes or an abundance of fillers, well-known personalities such as Khloé Kardashian, Courteney Cox Cox, and Janice Dickinson have candidly acknowledged instances where they may have gone a bit too far with their cosmetic enhancements.

Cardi B

In 2022, Cardi B took to her Instagram to share her plastic surgery regrets and also caution followers against going down the same path. The rapper has been transparent about her experiences, disclosing a noteworthy incident where she spent $800 on illicit silicone injections. "In August I got surgery and I removed 95% of my biopolymers," specifically addressing the issue of "a** shots." For those unfamiliar with the term, it refers to fillers to create a fuller-looking backside. Providing guidance, she stressed, "if you’re young, if you’re 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you’re too skinny, and you be like ‘OMG I don’t have enough fat to put in my ass,’ so you result to ass shots, DON’T!"

Janice Dickinson confessed to undergoing various cosmetic procedures, including a breast enlargement, tummy tuck, neck and face-lifts, and liposuction. Reflecting on her choices in light of a breast cancer diagnosis, Janice Dickinson expressed regret, stating, "If I had to play my life over again, I would have never gotten breast implants in the first place," during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Melanie Griffith

In 2017, Melanie Griffith, renowned for her role in 'Working Girl', acknowledged that she had gained a newfound awareness of the significant alterations to her face from surgeries undergone approximately two decades prior. Expressing her surprise to E News, she shared, "I didn't realize until people started saying, 'Oh my god, what has she done?' I was so hurt." Reflecting on the experience, she revealed, "I went to a different doctor, and he started dissolving all of the enhancements that this other female doctor had introduced. Hopefully, I appear more natural now."

Courteney Cox

During an interview with The Sunday Times, Courteney Cox revealed her personal struggle with the aging process, confessing to using fillers that, in retrospect, left her appearing "really strange." She acknowledged, "There was a time when you go, 'Oh, I'm changing. I'm looking older.' And I didn't realize that, oh shit, I'm actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now."

Khloe Kardashian from KUWTK has openly acknowledged going overboard with fillers and augmentations just like her sisters. Khloé, discussing her experience with face fillers, admitted in one of the 2016 episodes of KUWTK, "It did not work for me. I looked crazy, and I still think the effects are in there — I went to have it all dissolved like three times". Despite undergoing efforts to correct the situation, Khloé has remained the subject of cosmetic procedure rumors, eventually confirming that she had indeed undergone a nose job.

Mickey Rourke

Formerly one of Hollywood's most prominent stars, Mickey Rourke's current appearance is nearly unrecognizable. According to The Independent, reflecting on his transformation, he confessed, "Most of it was to mend the mess of my face because of the boxing, but I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together," acknowledging the impact of his past decisions on his facial features.

Blac Chyna

Blac Chyna, now known as Angela White, turned 35 in May 2023. She openly admitted her previous use of facial fillers, stating her face looked "crazy." The reality TV star has a history of cosmetic procedures, including liposuction after giving birth in 2019, four breast surgeries, and cheek piercings for "dimples" as early as 2014. In March 2023, she began sharing her journey of reversing these cosmetic enhancements. Chyna has undergone breast reduction surgery and had silicone removed from her buttocks and dissolving her facial fillers. She explained that these changes were essential because they didn't align with her true self and the energies she wanted to attract into her life.

Bella Hadid

Supermodel Bella Hadid said in a 2022 Vogue interview that she regrets the nose job she received when she was just 14 years old: “I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors. I think I would have grown into it.”

Linda Evangelista

Ex-supermodel Linda Evangelista is still living with the effects of a cosmetic procedure gone horribly wrong. While undergoing the fat-freezing procedure known as CoolSculpting between 2015 and 2016, Evangelista started to notice unexplained bulges on her body. She was eventually diagnosed with paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH), a rare side effect that causes the fatty tissue to expand instead of "reducing" like the procedure promises. The model was permanently disfigured and shared her story on Instagram, describing how the surgery plunged her into the "lowest depths of self loathing."
