'60 Days In' has given a lot of undercover inmates reality checks through its many seasons, but the hardest hitting one has to be with Dennis, a former quarterback who has earned the reputation of being arrogant and "green". This week, Dennis finds himself in a tricky situation. He sees, first hand, what happens in a jail fight and just how quickly one gets shanked.

This season had been quite unimpressive in the men's pod, especially after two of the contestants who were considered the toughest went home in tears early on in the show. Dennis was too arrogant for his own good and tried to move around to a different unit without cameras — a unit that is filled with contraband and is extremely dangerous. He had to be pulled out of the unit.

As for Alex, the political science major who looked like he just did not belong, it was getting more difficult by the minute. His radio was snatched away, his food was taken and he was constantly bullied. He went home this week and honestly, we feel happy that he did not have to see what went down in the pod.

As Dennis was eating his food in the hall, a commotion broke out. Two inmates are seen hurling abuses and screaming about killing each other. One of them picked up the trash can to beat the other but later put it down. Dennis, shocked, thinks it is over, but just then the inmate returns with a mop and beats the other man only to be stabbed multiple times in the back and chest. The disbelief on Dennis' face conveyed all he needed to say.

For someone who was so cocky earlier when rebuked by the police chiefs to stay safe, he definitely was thankful now.

Catch '60 Days in' at 9/8c on Thursdays on A&E.
