Six young girls, including 1-year-old, killed after car flips over in deadly Tennessee highway crash
ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: Six young girls were killed on Sunday, March 26, 2023, when the car they were riding in hit a barrier and flipped over on a Tennessee highway. The girls, along with two adults, were reportedly heading down Interstate 24 West when the five-seat red Toyota Camry abruptly veered off the road and collided with a shoulder barrier near Exit 24 in Robertson County at around 2 am.
The girls were declared dead on the spot, while the adult woman was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition and an adult man was transferred to another hospital with minor injuries. The victims' names have not yet been made public, however, Brent Dyer, the county's emergency management services office head, said they range in age from one year old to eighteen years old. A black pickup truck about a half-mile away from the deadly crash has been mentioned in numerous reports as possibly being involved. But officials stated that the truck struck a concrete barrier on the shoulder of a bridge.

'I've never seen an accident like this in my life'
This tragic incident unfolded just over a week after another accident in Brooklyn on Monday, March 20, 2023, when a car leaped a curb, killing two people and injuring five others. Authorities stated that a driver lost control of his car on 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst just before 1 pm in the afternoon, and it appears that he ran a red light before slamming into another vehicle at 64th Street.
The white automobile is seen spinning out of control onto the curb and knocking down a pole in the surveillance video and colliding with the black SUV at the intersection of 64th Street. A witness stated, "I've never seen an accident like this in my life. The guy had to come really, really fast. I've been impacted by this and knock down the left -- everything, the pole. It's incredible," MEAWW reported.
