4 killed after car runs stop light, crashes into SUV in hit-and-run causing it to fly off an overpass in St Louis
ST LOUIS, MISSOURI: In a tragic hit-and-run crash reported from St Louis, 4 young people have died. As per the police, a Chevy Impala ran a stop light on Grand Blvd and hit a Chevy Tahoe around 1.30 am on Sunday, February 26. The suspect fled the scene on foot and is yet to be arrested. The impact of the collision was so severe that it made the vehicle "strike the bridge guardrail and fall off the bridge where it landed upside down in the westbound lanes of Forest Park," police said in a statement.
In a miraculous escape, the driver Courtney McKinley, 19, survived, but all the four passengers succumbed to the injuries. The victims included his brother Corntrail McKinley, 20, and Bryanna Dentman-Johnson, 18, of Vinita Park, Anthony Robinson, 19, of Jennings, and Richard Boyd, 19, of Sullivan. The survivor told KMOV in an interview he still can understand how he is still alive after the crash, "I woke up in the hospital like dang, it's really real.” The heartbroken mother told St Louis Post-Dispatch, the two brother always used to hang together, "We did everything together. We were always together.”

'He was a full-time father'
Corntrail McKinley, who was father to a two-year-old boy, was a devoted family man. "He was a full-time father," said the surviving brother. "He wanted to have more kids. He had plans for his future. He was going to get everything he wanted to." The other victim Dentman-Johnson was a senior at KIPP High School in St Louis, who was excited to go to her college, said her mother, Stephanie Boyd. "I miss her just coming to the door and telling me she was home from work. I keep breaking down in pieces. Just breaking down and crying."
McKinley family has setup a GoFundMe page
The McKinley family is raising funds for funeral and medical costs through a GoFundMe page. Corntrail McKinley's sister, Antonette Sutton, wrote "My brother was only 20 years old, very sweet and stayed to himself.” Adding, "He left behind his 2 year son Kash McKinley who now has to grow up without a father due to a senseless act. Anything you guys can donate would be a blessing!"
