'365 Days: This Day': Laura takes control of her relationship with Massimo
The infamous movie '365 Days' now has a sequel titled '365 Days: This Day' that was recently released on Netflix. The sequel is here to continue the franchise's legacy of promoting pleasure with pain. The previous release had amused some fans but was largely slammed for glorifying abuse, rape, and sex trafficking. After Laura (Anna Maria Sieklucka) was abducted in Italy by Don Massimo (Michele Morrone), their relationship went through a complicated journey but gave the movie some life with their ever-so-intense chemistry.
The sequel, however, is more about the leading lady taking back control and trying to get her say in the relationship. The sequel incorporates twists and turns that are engrossing enough, all the while leaving you nothing short of drama, jealousy, betrayal, and great sex scenes.

'365 Days: This Day' begins with the duo getting hitched and on the way to their honeymoon. But along the way, Massimo shows us signs of dominance when he commands Laura to follow his instructions. Well, this time, Laura is seen taking a stand and letting her husband know that she is more than just a wife to him by telling him, "I miss challenges."
The story continues with Massimo surprising Laura on Christmas by gifting her a clothing company, and telling her that he wants her to be free and do what she loves. This makes her happy enough to return his gesture with some whips, handcuffs, and lots of lovemaking. The story does take a grim turn eventually as Massimo continues his controlling behavior towards Laura, treating her with disrespect and not taking her emotions into consideration.
Laura seemed to be a submissive Polish girl in the first movie but in the sequel, she is seen becoming more confident. Sieklucka plays the role of a girl who falls in love with her abductor. Balancing fear and passion towards the same man is a lot for one actor to handle. In an interview, Sieklucka said, "The biggest surprise while working on this film was related to the emotions inside me, which I had to bring out.”
'365 Days: This Day' is now streaming exclusively on Netflix.
